Sultanpur 30th December: Under the Uttar Pradesh Millets Revival Millets Programme, a 2-day Millets Recipe Development Competition, Consumer Awareness Program and Road Show Program was organized at Krishi Bhawan Ahimane. In the program R.B. Singh, Joint Agriculture Director, (Barhoyo) Krishi Bhawan Lucknow/TFO Ayodhya Mandal Ayodhya, inspected the stalls organized in the recipe competition and detailed information about millets was given. Out of the 14 stalls organized in the competition organized by the committee with the aim of promoting millets recipe, the first, second and third stalls were honored by giving them consolation prizes and certificates.
Thereafter, the road show was flagged off by the Joint Director of Agriculture. In this road-show program, 300 motorcycles, 8 four-wheelers, 8 e-rickshaws, 200 women, 300 farmers and 100 officers and employees of the department participated with band music from all the development blocks of the district.
On this occasion, Deputy Agriculture Director Ramashray Yadav, District Horticulture Officer Ranvijay Singh, District Agriculture Officer Sadanand Chaudhary, Incharge/Senior Scientist Krishi Vigyan Kendra KNI. Dr. J.B. Singh, Incharge Officer Milk Dr. RB Singh, District Program Officer, Sub Divisional Agricultural Extension Officer Deepchand Chaurasia, Lecturer (Home Science) Kesh Kumari Girls Inter College, Sultanpur Mrs. Charul Gupta, Mrs. Sangeeta Gupta (Home Science), Sugarcane, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry. The representative of the department participated.
