In view of the upcoming Ramotsav program and Shri Ram Charanpaduka Yatra to be organized in Ayodhya, the District Magistrate inspected the encroachment removal and cleanliness campaign.

Sultanpur 12 January / In view of the upcoming Ramotsav program to be organized in Ayodhya and Shri Ram Charanpaduka Yatra, the ongoing encroachment removal work, cleanliness campaign, beautification etc. are being done by District Magistrate Kritika Jyotsna, Superintendent of Police Somen Burma, Chief Development Officer Ankur Kaushik, Necessary guidelines were given after observation by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Pankaj Singh and other concerned officers.

While directing the Executive Engineer PWD, the District Magistrate said that the construction work of Gopaldas Bridge should be completed by January 15, 2024 and opened to the general public. While observing the removal of encroachment from Tikonia Park to Payagipur intersection with the concerned officials, instructions were given to remove the fruit vendors and tea shops on the footpath near Shahganj outpost. He directed the concerned officials that now no one will set up shop on the footpath nor will there be parking in front of the shops.
The ongoing cleanliness campaign from Payagipur intersection to Amethi border was inspected by all the concerned officials. During this period, the work of cleanliness campaign has almost been completed. He gave instructions to complete the remaining works as soon as possible.
The Superintendent of Police gave instructions to the concerned to issue challan for auto rickshaws/tempos/bikes etc. parked illegally on the road. While directing Police Area Officer, City Shivam Mishra, he said that wherever encroachment has been removed, it should be ensured that encroachment does not happen again.
Chief Development Officer Ankur Kaushik directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer to motivate the village heads of the Gram Panchayats falling on the Ram Van Path Gaman route for public participation. All places should be beautified and special attention should be paid to cleanliness. Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Pankaj Singh instructed the Executive Engineer PWD to remove all the encroachments on the footpath along the road and instructions were given to speed up the work of cleaning and painting the divider. The encroachment removal and cleanliness campaign that has been going on for the last one week has yielded better results. This has provided convenience to the general public in transportation. During this period, the work of cleaning toilets and installing decorative lights at all petrol pumps/restaurants etc. has also been completed.
JCB by PWD Department. The work of removing all types of encroachments and debris, washing the road, painting on dividers etc. has almost been completed through the machine. The work of transformer shifting near Payagipur crossing and Gopaldas bridge will be completed today by the electricity department. The work of removing illegal hoardings installed on all the routes is being done by the Executive Officer Municipality.
On this occasion, Deputy Collector Sadar C.P. Pathak, CO City Shivam Mishra, District Panchayat Raj Officer Abhishek Shukla, District Supply Officer Jeevesh Maurya, Executive Engineer PWD, Executive Officer Municipality Shyamendra Mohan and other concerned officers and employees were present.
