Sultanpur 11 January / In accordance with the instructions given by the Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Government, regarding 100% protection and maintenance of destitute cattle, Vikas Bhawan is located under the chairmanship of Special Secretary, Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh Government/Nodal Officer, Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari. The meeting was held in Prerna Auditorium. All concerned officers including Chief Development Officer Ankur Kaushik were present in the said meeting.
In the said meeting, the nodal officer directed the concerned officer to provide all the basic facilities to the cows. He said that arrangements should be made for tripal/bonfire etc. to protect the cows from cold. He directed for sowing of Napier grass and plantation of trees in cowsheds. While directing the Chief Veterinary Officer, he said that male and female cows should be protected separately in each cowshed.
Special Secretary, Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh Government/Nodal Officer, Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari conducted on-site inspection of Godwa division, Dubeypur and Haliyapur division, Baldirai cow shelter site of the district. During this, he took stock of cleanliness, food habits, tripal for protection from cold, bonfire etc. While directing the concerned officer, he said that no cow should roam in the open and all should be protected 100%.
On this occasion, District Development Officer, Project Director (DRDA), Deputy Commissioner MNREGA, Additional Chief Officer District Panchayat, all executive officers of Municipality/Nagar Panchayat, all Block Development Officers, all Deputy Chief Veterinary Officers and Veterinary Officers were present.
