Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is here with a new trailer, giving a glimpse of the epic battle between comic superhero Arthur Curry or Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Black Manta. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be the final film in the DCEU timeline as Warner Bros. prepares to transition to DC Universe. Directed by James Wan, the new trailer for Aquaman 2 shows Arthur Curry fighting alongside his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) against Black Manta, who is out for revenge against the King of Atlantis.
As the trailer begins, it shows Jason Momoa aka Arthur Curry starting a new life with his infant son, telling Jim about the exciting life that awaits him under the sea. “You and I, son. We’re special. We’re connected by land and sea… I can’t wait to show you how terrible this world can be,” Momoa’s character tells his son.
Later, the trailer shows some glimpses of Black Manta, who vows to stop any line crossed to eliminate Aquaman and his M. This time around, he will be seen taking things to the next level with the legendary Black Trident and awakening an ancient and dark power.
This is when Arthur Curry finds himself in partnership with his brother, the former King of Atlantis. Putting aside their differences, the two brothers will go to great lengths to save their family, save the kingdom, and prevent a global catastrophe as the stakes are high.
