A progress review meeting of development works and under-construction projects costing more than Rs 50 lakh was held under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate.

Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Kritika Jyotsna and in the presence of Chief Development Officer Ankur Kaushik, a review of development works and progress review of under-construction projects costing more than Rs 50 lakh was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium through the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Dashboard. In the said meeting, the progress of the projects conducted department wise was reviewed.

In the review meeting, the District Magistrate expressed strong displeasure regarding the absence of the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department, Public Works Department and the absence of the Executive Engineer of many executive institutions and instructions were given to issue clarification against all and stop the salary. District Magistrate expressed her strong displeasure over the replacement of heads of offices of various departments by her subordinates. He gave strict instructions to everyone that all the office heads themselves should participate in the meeting. In the meeting, District Magistrate Madam directed all the concerned officers to review department-wise and ensure that the schemes/works and public welfare programs of their respective departments should be made available to the eligible persons in every situation. Similarly, while reviewing the progress of other departments, he directed that all the departments should get the data feeding work done as soon as possible.

During the review meeting of development works, Chief Development Officer Ankur Kaushik reviewed the progress of Agriculture Department, Agricultural Defense Chemicals, Water Corporation, Medical and Health, Construction of Bridges, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, National Rural Drinking Water, Construction of new roads, Maintenance of Highways. After thoroughly reviewing the schemes of departments like Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme, Saubhagya Yojana etc., necessary guidelines were given to the concerned officials.

During the review of the progress of the under-construction projects costing more than Rs 50 lakh, the District Magistrate directed all the executing agencies and related departments to inspect the works and complete the projects on time. He directed the executive engineers of all the executing agencies to participate in the meeting themselves with updated information and not to send any representative to the meeting.

On this occasion, Chief Medical Officer Dr. O.P. Chaudhary, DFO R.K. Tripathi, District Development Officer Ajay Kumar Pandey, Project Director (DRDA) Krishna Karunakar Pandey, DC MNREGA Anwar Shaikh, Deputy Agriculture Director Ramashray Yadav, District Economics and Statistics Officer Ashish Kumar and other concerned department officers/employees were present on the spot.
