Sultanpur December 13/ Under the Chief Minister Mass Marriage Scheme, mass marriage of a total of 201 couples was conducted in the District Panchayat premises. This includes 198 Hindu couples and 03 Muslim couples, whose mass marriage was conducted as per religious customs.
In the program, Honorable MP/former Union Minister Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Honorable Legislative Council Member Shailendra Pratap Singh, Honorable MLA Sultanpur Vinod Singh, Honorable President, District Panchayat Usha Singh, Chief Development Officer Ankur Kaushik, Block Chief Baldirai Shivkumar Singh and District Development Officer Ajay. Kumar Pandey, Additional Chief Officer District Panchayat Hariom Narayan Chand, District Social Welfare Officer Amit Singh etc. blessed the newly married couples and by providing them marital material as a gift, they wished the new couples a happy married life.
